Hayden Panettiere - Dolphin Activist

I heard this story yesterday and had to do a little more research after the blurb on the radio.  The radio clip said that Hayden Panettiere (Claire Bennet) was hit when trying to stop a dolphin hunt in Japan.  I hear hit and think smacked by a boat, knocked out or something.  But no, there is nothing like that what so ever.  I found the clip on E!online and it shows her surf board being pushed away from one of the hunting boats.  And boat may be a stretch, try hunting dingy. 

Don't get me wrong, I like gossip, new and rumors - but can the media report the news stories accurately?
