American Gladiators - Really?

Does NBC really need to put this show on the air?  I know there is a shortage of good content with the continuing writers strike, but c’mon, American Gladiators!  Haven’t we been there and done that with this show?

Looking back, the previous version was so gay (and I don’t mean happy)!  The tights, the long hair, the lights glistening from the gladiators sweat…..oh make me stop.  Some one bring the Haitian and make the memories go away.

But really, will this show draw viewers?  Isn’t the reality wave getting smaller?  I guess this is what we get for not paying the writers good money and downloading season passes onto our ipods!
